Nail polish + Newspaper = Happy

My niece told me about a fun technique with nail polish and newspaper, that she had heard about. We had to try it right away.

Here is the result. Kind of cool, right? :) 

It's kind of the same technique as with Image Transfer. 

You put on nail polish as usual, wait a little while, but it still needs to be sticky. 

Then you tear a little piece of newspaper, dip it in water and wrap it around your nail. Press it down carefully so it covers the whole nail. Wait till it dries and then you can tear it of, carefully. If there is some newspaper left on the nail, add some water and carefully carefully rub. When that is dry, put on a coat of clear nail polish, to protect the print. 

I did my niece's nails as well. 

All fingers covered in newspapers. :)

This is how it turned out. I used a pearl nail polish on her nails.

As a final touch I added a little blue stone on one of the nails.

Finished it of with an ice cream. I think it matched my nails perefectly. :)
