Inspired by Christy, I made my first She-art in my art journal a week ago.
I started this art journal by covering the whole page with tissue paper and old book paper. Then I painted over everything with blue acrylic paint diluted with water, to make the background paper shine through.
I used the She Art Dollie mask and modeling paste to put some white on my page, and create balance.
I felt like having the airy feeling of butterflies on my page. I really like how that turned out. :) I drew the outline of the butterflies with a black pen, to make them pop out of the page.
And by coincidence, the butterfly is in focus in Week 1 in the work shop that I'm currently taking. So I'll guess you'll be seeing more butterflies in this blog in a couple of weeks.
So this is my version of She Art. A small girl and some true words to go with it. :)
And last, a close up of the texture on my page. I just love it! :) I hope you can almost feel the texture with your fingers.
I stamped with black to create more texture, and to make the page shabby (kind of.... not so perfect and clean) I smudged some orange and pink paint on various places. This gives the final touch. :)
Åå så herlig journal side ...love it ♥♥♥
