Hit rock bottom

This month I'm a proud Guest Designer at Scrapptorget, a Swedish inspirational blog.

On this page I have been working with Alcohol inks from Ranger and Glimmer Glaze from Tattered Angel. These two products works great on plastic and metallic embellishments.

I tried to make a steam punk inspired page, with kind of dark colors and metal. The page is about when your feeling really down, you've hit rock bottom.... trying to see something bright in the future, you know that there's nowhere to go but up. A good thing to remember...

I've made a tutorial of how I made this page. Hope I can inspire you. :)

There is also on the film, how I color some embellishments from Epiphany Craft.

I started out by covering the whole page with white tissue paper. It doesn't show that much, but I love the texture it creates.

Here is a close up of a plastic tag, from Tim Holtz fragments, that I colored with alcoholic inks and acrylic paint. You can also see a piece of lace, that I colored. Love that effect! :)

The texture of the tissue paper is showing, and the shimmer on it is from when I misted with prefect pearl.

Another close up of some of the nuts and washers that I bought at a local hard ware store. And again the colored lace and fragments. :)

Guest DT at Scrapptorget. Thanks! :)
